Airbag Module Crash Data Reset Service

Before purchasing, please contact us via message, email to confirm as not all modules can be reset. Email Us

Your SRS module will then need to be removed and sent to us. This service resets the airbag or SRS control module. We clear the crash data stored after an airbag deployment or accident, allowing the module to be reused according to factory specifications without replacement. This process is no-coding required.
The service includes:
- Full crash data removal
- Diagnostic check of internal memory
- Verification of successful reset on a bench test
Please note that this is a software/firmware reset of crash data only. We do not open or modify the modules. If the module has hardware damage or communication faults, it will need to be replaced or further diagnostics will be required for wiring, airbag or sensor faults. A charge will still be required if resetting crash data does not fix your problem.

Once installed back into the vehicle, a scan tool may be needed to clear any faults created during installation.

Airbag module crash data is a permanent digital record of a vehicle collision stored within the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) or Restraint Control Module (RCM). It’s often referred to as the car’s “black box”.

An invoice detailing vehicle details can be provided for the repair certification process if required.

ABS/SRS and/or ESC declarations are also available (for Auckland only).

**12 Month Warranty with GST invoice** The warranty is void if the unit has been tampered with abused incorrectly fitted, incorrectly connected, faulty or subjected to water damage.

No refunds are issued for crash data resets.


Reset and Repair Services 
While dealerships often recommend replacing the entire module at a high cost, specialised services can reset the module to factory (virgin) state. 
Clearing Methods: Professionals use advanced tools programmers to reflash the original factory code.
We offer mail-in reset services for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. No coding required.
(a Scan tool may be needed to reset any faults created during reassembly)

Safety Note: A reset should only be performed after all deployed components (airbags, seatbelts, sensors) have been replaced with genuine parts.

This service is accepted for Repair Certification by a Repair Certifier.

With an SRS light on, your vehicle WILL fail a Warrant Of Fitness and is Not Safe to drive.
